1939 — Chuck Brooks and his father form "Vic Brooks & Son Insurance Agency" on Des Moines' east side

1949 — Chuck and Marge Brooks form Chuck Brooks Insurance

1968 — Ted Lussem joins the agency as a minority owner

1979 — On March 15^th, Ted acquired balance of ownership from the Brooks' and the name was changed to "Brooks-Lussem Insurance"

1980's and 1990's over 15 agencies were merged into Brooks-Lussem Insurance

2000 — Brian and Marla Cole purchase agency from Ted

2000 — Tony Clem forms Clem Insurance Services in Ames, Iowa

2003 — Brooks-Lussem agency offices moved to Urbandale, Iowa

2006 — In March, Tony Clem acquires ownership by purchasing the Cole's interest.

2006 — In September, Tony buys the Jim White Agency.

2007 — On January 1^st, Grant Insurance Agency is purchased.
